Vancouver Bandits Partner With White Canvas Design Agency and Hercourt to Launch ‘Run the Court’ T-Shirt and ‘Ocean’ Shorts

The Vancouver Bandits announced two merchandise collaborations on Monday in partnership with White Canvas Design Agency and Hercourt to celebrate the success and prowess of women’s basketball players across British Columbia.
The t-shirts designed by White Canvas Design Agency and shorts designed by Hercourt, respectively, are on sale now and are available for purchase online or at the Bandits’ team store located at ATO Basketball Merchants on the outdoor plaza at Langley Events Centre (LEC).

Together with White Canvas Design Agency, an award-winning and women-led business based in Langley, the Bandits launched its ‘Run the Court’ t-shirt to commemorate the start of the B.C. School Sports Basketball Provincial Championships, which annually welcome more than 100 combined girls teams to the Lower Mainland as part of the junior girls and senior girls tournaments.
The t-shirt features designs on the front and back that create a sense of empowerment and pride by using imagery to embody basketball’s significance as an inspirational platform for pursuing one’s dreams on and off the court.
“Supporting women and girls in sport in our local community is something we hold close to our hearts. We are honoured to partner with the Vancouver Bandits on their 2024 women’s basketball game as both a sponsor and designer of the special edition t-shirt. As a team of women, we know firsthand what it takes to come together as individuals and a collective,” said Carly Moir, CEO and founder of White Canvas Design Agency.
“No matter what your sport or passion is, when we lift each other up as women, it becomes so much more than just a game. Our hope is that you feel proud, empowered and inspired when wearing this shirt, both on and off the court.”
The t-shirt incorporates subtle nods to British Columbia’s basketball community, which continues to provide steady contributions to Canada’s women’s national basketball program, as well as bold letters and messaging that personify how basketball is ‘More Than A Game.’
Complementing the t-shirt is the Bandits’ partnered apparel with Hercourt, a women’s basketball lifestyle company founded by former B.C. junior and senior girls provincial champion and former NCAA Division I basketball star Elle Kerfoot. The ‘Ocean Short’ uses an aquatic aesthetic to convey a sense of movement and the beauty of the Pacific Ocean.
Wearing the exciting new merchandise in today’s launch published to the Bandits’ website and social media pages are two promising high school basketball players, Demicah Arnaldo and Alyssia Palma. Arnaldo and Palma attend St. Thomas More Collegiate and Holy Cross Regional High School, respectively, and played together on the Philippines national team at the FIBA U16 Women’s Asian Championship hosted in Jordan last summer.
Further cementing White Canvas’ support of women’s basketball is its sponsorship of the Bandits’ third annual Girls and Women in Sports Game, which takes place on Sunday, May 26, 2024, versus the defending CEBL champions, the Scarborough Shooting Stars, at LEC.
Season tickets as well as flex packs are currently on sale for the Bandits’ sixth CEBL campaign and are available for purchase at this link.
Vancouver will play a total of 10 regular season home games in 2024 between Thursday, May 23 and Thursday, July 18. The Bandits wrap up regular season action on the road against Montréal on Sunday, July 28 at 1 p.m. PT.
