ROSTER

Players in the CEBL are signed to one-season contracts and bring experience from top leagues around the world, including the NBA, NBA G League, other premier international leagues, as well as U SPORTS and the NCAA.


Developmental Players (DEV) are able to practice and play in the CEBL while retaining eligibility for the upcoming 2026-27 U SPORTS season.


CEBL rosters must include:

  • Minimum 6 Canadian players on roster
  • Maximum 5 Import Players (non-Canadians) on gameday/active roster
  • 10-14 players allowed on gameday/active roster
  • 2 Canadian players on the court at all times during all CEBL games

The Vancouver Bandits have announced the following roster update: Zach Copeland has been placed on the Bandits' Reserve Roster due to challenges surrounding his international clearance from FIBA. It is unlikely he will be able to play for the Bandits this 2026 CEBL season.

The Vancouver Bandits have announced today the following roster updates in advance of its Thursday, June 18 away game against the Winnipeg Sea Bears at 5:00 p.m. PT: G Shamar Givance has been added to Club's active roster and will be available for tonight's game. F Tyrese Samuel has been placed on the Club's reserve roster in order for him to participate in potential NBA team workouts; he will return to the club at the conclusion of his commitments.

The Vancouver Bandits have announced today the following roster updates in advance of its Friday, May 29 away game against the Niagara River Lions at 4:00 p.m. PT: G Tevian Jones has been released from the roster. G Jalen Shirley, G Jack Vandenberg, F Dario Lopez and F Ashton Bain have been placed on the Club’s Practice Roster.

Vancouver Bandits forward Kur Jongkuch has been called up to the Canadian men’s national team for Window 2 of the FIBA Men’s World Cup 2027 Qualifiers, as announced by Canada Basketball . Originally from Juba, South Sudan before moving to London, Ont. at a young age, this will be Jongkuch’s first-ever call up to Canada's senior men’s national team roster. He was previously named to Canada’s training camp squad for Window 1 of the World Cup Qualifiers in November 2025 , and also competed on Canada’s men’s U23 squad in 2022 where he captured a bronze medal at that year’s GLOBL JAM invitational tournament. Jongkuch has appeared in 36 regular season games across three seasons for the Bandits, averaging 7.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.3 blocks in seven games played during the 2025 CEBL season. Following his 2025 CEBL season with the Bandits, he signed with Telekom Baskets Bonn of the Basketball Bundesliga, Germany’s top flight and one of the basketball leagues worldwide. Canada, who are ranked fifth in FIBA’s men’s world rankings, will face Puerto Rico on Feb. 26 at 7:10 p.m. ET / 4:10 p.m. PT in San Juan, Puerto Rico, before travelling to Kingston, Jamaica to take on Jamaica on Mar. 1 at 6:00 p.m ET / 3:00 p.m. PT. Both games will be available to stream live in Canada on TSN+.
