Vancouver Bandits, Bandits Community Foundation and Fraser Valley Building Supplies Extend Partnership Into 8th Season

The Vancouver Bandits and Fraser Valley Building Supplies are proud to announce a renewed two-year partnership that builds on an already strong relationship rooted in community investment and support for youth development. In 2022 and 2023, Fraser Valley Building Supplies notably supported the Bandits Community Foundation’s Court Projects initiative which saw the development of outdoor basketball courts across the Fraser Valley.
Fraser Valley Building Supplies is now deepening its impact by supporting two major community initiatives delivered through the Bandits Community Foundation: the Bandits School Tour in Mission and the Community Champion program.
As part of the new agreement, Fraser Valley Building Supplies will sponsor the Mission leg of the Bandits School Tour, a travelling program that brings Vancouver Bandits players, coaches, and staff into schools across British Columbia to inspire the next generation of basketball players and coaches, the School Tour fosters a love for sport while delivering key life lessons in a relatable and engaging format. During the 2024 Bandits School Tour the Vancouver Bandits visited Mission Secondary School and Hatzic Middle School.
"We are proud to extend our partnership with the Vancouver Bandits, reinforcing our commitment to Canadian basketball and community connection.” said Dave Deobald, Sales Manager at RONA Fraser Valley Building Supplies. “Through initiatives like the Court Projects Program and the Bandits School Tour, we’re bringing the excitement of basketball directly to local schools, inspiring the next generation of athletes. Making a positive impact on the communities we serve is at the heart of what we do."
Fraser Valley Building Supplies will also serve as a supporting partner of the Community Champion program, which provides tickets to not-for-profit and charitable organizations in Mission, programs like Big Brothers Big Sisters, Mission Community Services and Mission School District.'
“Fraser Valley Building Supplies has been an incredible partner for the past two seasons, and we’re thrilled to continue building with them through two initiatives that truly align with their values,” said Dylan Kular, President of the Vancouver Bandits. “Their support in Mission and across the Fraser Valley helps us grow the game of basketball by building courts, educating coaches and bringing youth to Bandits games who may otherwise not be able to go without the support of Fraser Valley Building Supplies.”
This renewed partnership reflects a shared vision for a stronger, more connected Fraser Valley—where sport and community go hand-in-hand to create meaningful change.
