The Vancouver Bandits and the City of Kelowna are teaming up to bring professional basketball to the Okanagan this summer!
Kelowna HOOPFEST is bringing the thrill of Canadian Elite Basketball League action to Prospera Place on Saturday June 6th as part of a weekend of events celebrating basketball culture in BC’s interior.
The Bandits will face the Saskatoon Mamba on Saturday, June 6 at 6:00 p.m. PT at Prospera Place as part of Kelowna HOOPFEST, .

BANDITS DANCE WORKSHOP
hosted by the Bandits Dance Crew and The Village Dance Academy
Friday, June 5, 6-7:30 PM & 7:30-9 PM - Village Dance Academy
Dance workshop sessions open to dancers of all skills, led by members of the Bandits Dance Crew. Registration and payment required.
$25 for each class, $45 for both.
BANDITS RUN THE ONES
Saturday, June 6, 8:30-10:30 PM - Kelowna City Park
A 1v1 street ball tournament under the lights at City Park, admission is open to the public. Fans are invited to watch the action after the Bandits game.

Why are the Vancouver Bandits playing in Kelowna?
This is about serving fans. The Bandits are bringing a CEBL game to Kelowna as part of a broader basketball festival, and that fits perfectly with who Bandits are as a provincial basketball brand. We’ve seen some CEBL teams do this in different ways, whether it’s the Calgary Surge playing at the Saddledome during Stampede, a game in Red Deer, or the Montréal Alliance staging an outdoor game. The focus is always on growing the game and creating great live experiences.
What is Kelowna HOOPFEST?
Kelowna HOOPFEST is a new multi-day festival presented in partnership with the City of Kelowna designed to celebrate basketball at every level.
The festival will feature the Bandits vs. Saskatchewan and additional events including a 5x5 youth basketball tournament, coaching clinic, and additional programming to be announced.
