
The Indigenous Basketball Collective represents the ongoing collaboration between the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council (I∙SPARC) and the Vancouver Bandits.
The goal of the Collective is to create annual opportunities for Indigenous players, coaches and others involved in the game of basketball to participate in training camps, competition, workshops and more.

The Indigenous Basketball Collective logo was designed by Kwantlen First Nation artist Jeff Dickson and is inspired by local Indigenous culture, histories and the geography of the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver regions.

YOUTHList Item 1
Camps, clinics and basketball fundamental seminars are key facets of the Indigenous Basketball Collective. The Bandits and I•SPARC are collaborating annually to host events to encourage and develop youth participation in basketball.

OUTREACHList Item 2
Connecting with Indigenous communities, young hoopers, coaches and builders of the game is always an honour.
Past event appearances include attending and supporting the Junior All Native Tournament in Nanaimo (2023), as well as hosting a free to attend basketball skills camp led by Bandits guard Malcolm Duvivier and assistant coach Levon Kendall at Ahousaht First Nation.

A team comprised of Indigenous athletes represented the Indigenous Basketball Collective at the 3X3 Canada Quest - British Columbia tournament in June 2022.
