BANDITS TO HOST WOMEN IN SPORTS NIGHT ON JULY 30 AGAINST EDMONTON
The evening will highlight girls and women who work and compete in the sports community, and feature guest speakers and a youth camp

The Fraser Valley Bandits are excited to host its first-ever Girls and Women in Sports Night on Saturday, July 30 during their home game against the Edmonton Stingers at 7 p.m. at Langley Events Centre (LEC).
The evening will highlight girls and women who work and compete in the sports community, including local athletes.
The Bandits will hold a basketball skills camp at LEC prior to the start of Saturday's game. U SPORTS student-athletes from Trinity Western University's women's basketball team will help lead the camp, featuring girls ages 10-15. Registration is free of charge and participants can register by clicking THIS link. All participants will receive a t-shirt and free game ticket.
Additionally, there will be a post-game Q&A session open to the public featuring local women in sport. Guest speakers include former Team Canada Olympic basketball coach Allison McNeill, and former Canadian Junior Women's National Basketball Team member and NCAA Division I standout Louise Forsyth. The Q&A session will be moderated by Katie Hamilton, in-game host and digital reporter for the BC Lions and Pacific FC.
