ABBOTSFORD, BC, May 18, 2021 – The
Fraser Valley Bandits
announced Tuesday that the club has partnered with
The Joseph Richard Group (JRG)
for its 2021 Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) season.
A collection of unique hospitality ventures owned by André “Joseph” Bourque and Ryan “Richard” Moreno, JRG operates several establishments located across the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland regions and has built a reputation of offering elite customer service and a delicious offering of food and drink at each of its properties. Adding to JRG’s attention to detail and presence as a leading hospitality destination in the province is its notable culinary team which has crafted menus ranging from casual fare to fine dining since its inception in 2009.
JRG’s current businesses include Livelyhood, Townhall, Oak & Thorne, The Henry, The Buck & Ear, S+L Kitchen & Bar, The Italian Osteria & Cheesebar, Blank Canvas Catering and Glass House Estate Winery. Other exciting concepts are in development, including a highly anticipated Asian Kitchen.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Fraser Valley Bandits. We have followed the team since its inaugural season and have been impressed with its commitment toward the Fraser Valley community and to use its platform to showcase local athletes and to inspire its fanbase. We look forward to supporting the Bandits and to collaborate in support of their season and other restaurant-related initiatives,” said Ryan Moreno, CEO, co-founder and principal of JRG.
The Bandits open the 2021 season on the road at Edmonton on Thursday, June 24. The Bandits welcome Saskatchewan for Fraser Valley’s home opener on Saturday, June 26. All regular season games will be live streamed on the free CBC Gem streaming service, cbcsports.ca, the CBC Sports app for iOS and Android devices and on a new OTT streaming platform that the CEBL will unveil this spring.
“The JRG brand is prominent throughout the Fraser Valley and it was clear from the onset of our partnership discussions that their dedication toward customers and in-venue experience aligned with our same approach toward servicing our fans. Together, our organizations both believe in the power of sport and the importance of elite hospitality and we are excited to see Bandits fans at JRG locations in the future,” said Bandits vice president Dylan Kular.
JRG and its establishments are currently adhering to all health and safety protocols in accordance with the current provincial health order. For more information on patio, takeout and dining opportunities, please visit jrghospitality.ca.
