3 KEYS TO THE GAME - JUNE 24 VS. MONTREAL

Master of None
The Alliance come to town in search of their fourth win of the season. With no dominant scoring threat, and a light interior defensive rotation, the Bandits will look to force the Alliance to take long contested two’s and pack the paint. The only way the Alliance can win on the road will be to get easy buckets off of live ball turnovers or in half court sets. The Bandits simply need to keep everything in front of them as they have all season long and the Alliance will have no answers against one of the toughest defensive units in the league.
Duvivier Resurrection
Malcolm Duvivier battled an early season ankle injury which forced him to come off the bench for the majority of the season to this point. The Bandits’ depth was in question versus the Nighthawks when Murphy Burnatowski, one of the team’ss early season scoring revelations, went down with an injury. Never rattled, Duvivier stepped and played out of position at the four. Adding another shot creator to the starting lineup forced the Guelph to cross match to guard Duvivier out by the three point line. The veteran ended up having one his best games of the season and will look to keep the good times rolling as Burnatowski is out for several games.
Let the Good Times Roll
The current crop of Fraser Valley Bandits have figured out the secret offensive formula to win games. Attack early when the opportunity presents itself, try to get multiple paint attacks per offensive possession, and don’t settle for contested outside shots. Keep attacking! And they have! This formula has helped them get out to great starts in their current winning streak and as teams fight to claw their way back, the Bandits know how to get back on track when the game is on the line. Elam time has been when the team locks in, leading them to win games at the charity stripe because they are attacking the rim. Hopefully this trend continues Friday versus Montreal at the Langley Events Centre.
