3 KEYS TO THE GAME - JUNE 15 VS. EDMONTON

Fraser Valley looks to bounce back in a crucial road game vs. Albertan rivals. Here are my 3 Keys to the Game tonight against Edmonton.
Rock Fight
The Edmonton Stingers are not only CEBL defending champions, they boast one of the best rebounding front lines in the league. Jordan Baker, Marlon Johnson and Brody Clarke will be a brutal matchup for the Bandits on Wednesday. The Bandits have started a more traditional three guard lineup most nights this season and arguably their team strength is their combo guard depth. The Stingers will look to expose the lack of size by chucking and chasing at every opportunity. Luckily the Bandits have tanks in the back court to help out the front line players in Murphy Burnatowski and Thomas Kennedy. Malcolm Duvivier and Alex Campbell will have to sacrifice some of their offence Wednesday night to protect the Bandits from giving up offensive rebounds.
The Tough Road Ahead
The Honey Badgers dominated the physical side of the game last Tuesday at the LEC. This caused the Bandits to play passively and settle for outside shots. Versus Hamilton the team shot thirty six three pointers in comparison to twenty three two pointers. Also, the Bandits only had five free throw attempts compared to seventeen from the Honey Badgers. The team's current leading scorer Murphy Burnatowski has been hot from downtown this season, but in the last game he had zero two point attempts. To have consistent offensive success the team will need to find someone who can generate points in the interior while also getting to the free throw line. On Wednesday, the Bandits will have to figure out how to penetrate the gigantic frontline of the Edmonton Stingers.
Variety is the Spice of Life
The Bandits are in need of offensive leadership and guidance, especially during ELAM time. The Bandits in both of their losses, have struggled to score when it matters most. This problem has been caused by a lack of execution and focus. Shot selection has been average at best. Kyle Adnam could be the key to unlocking the team's interior scoring issues because of his ability to run a basketball team. Quarterbacks can diagnose defensive deficiencies and who’s running hot offensively. Whether it be Kyle Adnam or someone else, the Bandits need this type of leadership late in games in order to have an offensive focus and a floor general who can serve as the point of attack.
